Hello !!

Friday once more .. Wahoooo !!

Having just spoken to my friend Tree Sparrow I can now bring you today's news :-)

The Bird Garden was 'fair stuffed' again (as I will be later) .. Reported from here were tree sparrows, bullfinches, greenfinches, great tits, blue tits. a willow tit, long-tailed tits, blackbirds, pheasants, magpies, a male great spotted woodpecker and 2 redwings ..

The Mere had 6 cormorants, a flock of linnets, gadwalls, teals, tufted ducks, shovelers, mallards and 2 female and 1 male goldeneye..

The juvenile female kingfisher was still showing well on the Wildlife Pond ..

Over on the Wader Scrape were goosanders, 2 redshanks and a jay ..

A drake pintail was seen on the Field Pool from the West Hide and there were 10 yellowhammers over on the Tree Sparrow farm ..

A final report for Old Moor was of a green woodpecker which was seen on Wath Ings ..

Broomhill flash had a little owl, red-legged partridges, common gulls, green sandpipers and 2 redshanks ..

Plenty to see !!!

So there you have it ... All done !!

Enjoy your evening everyone ;-)
