Rotherham collision - man named |

Police can now name the elderly pedestrian who died 12 days following a collision at Thurcroft, near Rotherham.
He is George Joynson, aged 85, from Thurcroft.
Mr Joynson is believed to have begun to cross Green Arbour Road from behind a parked vehicle when he was in collision with a red Toyota Auris, travelling towards Dinnington. The incident happened outside a kebab shop on Green Arbour Road at 9.39am on Thursday, 29 December.
Mr Joynson suffered multiple injuries and died in Rotherham District General Hospital on Tuesday, 10 January.
South Yorkshire Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information about the collision to ring 101 and quote incident number 193 of 29
